An Interscholastic Coalition for Menstrual Equity

Our Mission

We strongly believe that menstrual products are a healthcare essential and that no menstruator should feel insecure about their body. We work towards a future free from period poverty, period insecurity, and menstrual stigmas by connecting driven teens in the Greater Boston area to a cause that matters. One of our core values is that good leadership comes from solidarity, teamwork, and dedication, and we are committed to shaping today's teens into strong leaders and advocators who will make real impact. Free Period Talk representatives are passionate about educating their communities and believe that, by working together, we can achieve menstrual equity for all.

Petitioning state and federal legislators through emails, calls, and interviews

Empowering others to achieve their goals by teaching good leadership

Spreading the love by collecting and donating period products to those in need

Advocating for our beliefs at organized marches and meetings

Educating our communities about our efforts and ways to get involved

We at Free Period Talk believe that...

Menstrual security is a right, not a privilege.

Menstrual care is basic personal hygiene, not "extra spending."

50% of the world menstruates. It's not taboo or embarrassing.

Menstrual inequity is everybody's problem. Menstruators shouldn't be fighting alone.

Together, we can make change.
